“Don’t Play With Women’s Rights!”

For immediate release

You are cordially invited to two events in Vancouver on Sep 27 and Sep 28.

Women’s reproductive rights are under threat with the Conservative government. 74% of Conservative MP’s have anti-abortion records, 67% said they opposed the awarding of the Order of Canada to Dr. Henry Morgentaler, and 93% voted for Bill C-484 (the “Unborn Victims of Crime Act”), which would have endangered abortion rights.

People concerned about women’s equality and reproductive rights are gathering across the country on and around September 28, 2008 to educate, lobby, mobilize, and demonstrate. Please join us in Vancouver!
