Federal healthcare transfer fund should increase to 35% share, with conditions attached

ARCC wrote to NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh on December 12 to thank him for his challenge to the Liberal government regarding the healthcare crisis, and how the government needs to step up with more funding. We outline our position that the federal govermnent should increase health transfer funds to the province to 35% of the shared healthcare budget, and require provinces to earmark a portion of the funds for sexual and reproducive healthcare, including abortion.
