Why Anti-Abortion Groups Should Not Be Charities

The Liberal Party made a campaign promise in 2021 to “no longer” give charity status to anti-abortion groups, but has yet to deliver on the promise. Most anti-choice groups are charities, including 93% of “crisis pregnancy centres” and 46% of “right to life” advocacy groups.
