Post Abortion Support Event
An in-person FREE event hosted by Abortion Support Collective. Event location: The Ministry of Casual Living - 750 Fairfield Rd, Victoria, BC. This is a drop-in over the course of 2-5pm and attendees are welcomed upon entry. There will be information and resources from our collective in the main foyer as well as food and drinks. A private room will include activities such as felting, bouquet making, and aromatherapy blend making. This space is intended to welcome people who are any length post-abortion and would like to gather in a pro-choice environment to process, discuss, or listen to experiences while also enjoying relaxing activities that include things to take home. Participation is not mandatory and you are welcome to just quietly enjoy a private space. The private room will remain child free, and we are offering child care just down the hall from the event with some of our trusted collective members. If you would like to have some 1:1 time with one of our collective members to receive specific community resources or peer support you are welcome to book this time between 4-5 pm via our eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/post-abortion-support-event-tickets-1308561987129). RSVPing through our eventbrite is encouraged but not mandatory. Attendance is free and you don’t need to show registration to attend. This information will be used to help us track numbers and is especially encouraged if you need childcare during your time with us.
