What does this federal election mean for abortion rights and access? ARCC’s Election Toolkit will help you unpack information and navigate election promises as they relate to reproductive rights, so you can cast an informed vote that will protect and improve abortion rights in Canada. 

This workshop will take you through our newly launched toolkit for the 2025 federal election (Français). We’ll equip you with info on the current state of reproductive rights and the possible threats to reproductive rights that could happen under a future Conservative government.

You’ll also get an early look at our Voting Guide (coming soon) and we’ll take you through our other tools, including a Letter Tool for writing to candidates, Questions for Candidates, an Online Petition and a Solidarity Statement for folks to sign, free stuff you can order like stickers, and a social media kit that you can download to help promote our toolkit.

Note: The workshop will be in English only, but the toolkit is bilingual.

Speakers

Roma is on ARCC's Board of Directors and serves on the Election Toolkit Committee. She lives in Hamilton and works at missINFORMED.ca. Roma will be the workshop moderator. She will also open the workshop by speaking about where we currently sit with reproductive rights in Canada, and the threats posed to those rights by a possible Conservative government

Carolyn is a member of ARCC and serves on the Election Toolkit Committee, as well as the Reproductive Justice committee. She lives in Montreal. Carolyn will take us through our Voting Guide and how it works.

Margret Taylor is ARCC's Social Media Coordinator and leads the Social Media Team. She also serves on the Election Toolkit Committee and Strategic Planning Committee. Margret lives in St. Catharines. She will introduce the Public Social Media Kit to help our supporters spread the word about our toolkit.
